Prelude in B Minor – Johann Sebastian Bach / Alexander Siloti
Piano played by Dr. Tony Karam
Each painting comes with a CD containing the full version of the music which inspired it.
Bach’s E minor Prelude which appears as Prelude number 10 in the Well-Tempered Clavier was moved to the more somber B minor key by Alexander Siloti with an intended repetition that opens to the performer the ability to change texture and voicing.
To live the same experience twice, but in two different variations, is what life sometimes imposes on us.
