Each painting comes with a CD containing the full version of the music which inspired it.
When roaming the streets of a city, one catches a tune, and the tune integrates into thoughts and feelings that sometimes come out as a short piece of music.
Many esteemed composers such as Efimov were influenced by ethnic melodies which were transformed into wonderful compositions.
Joaquim Rodrigo’s touch of inner feelings upon the loss of his child while his wife struggled to hold on to life after childbirth inspired him to compose this Adagio for the Classical Guitar Concerto.
The legendary Fairuz sang the Adagio when her Lebanese song writers transcribed the theme to make it the famous “Li Beirut” (For Beirut) depiction of a wounded city.
Tony’s take on these tunes represents the diversity of the world we live in, assimilating those tunes to reflect his own inner self.
