Etude Op 25, No. 2 “The Bees” – Chopin
Piano played by Dr. Tony Karam
Each painting comes with a CD containing the full version of the music which inspired it.
Dubbed as “a melody of perpetual motion” this etude mimics a bee buzzing from flower to flower in nature.
The complexity of eighth note triplets in the right hand mixed with quarter note triplets in the left hand create a polyphonic harmony.
The Lebanese people will continue to buzz with motion, hoping to always find flowers amidst the chaos.
