Nocturne in C Sharp Minor – Chopin

During World War II, on September 23rd, 1939 the last live concert was broadcast on Polish radio before Germany invaded Warsaw.

Pianist Wladyslaw Szpilman was playing this very etude and later wrote in his autobiography:

That day, a few minutes after 3 pm, Polish radio fell silent

Beirut will not be silenced.
